Types Of Real Estate

As one of California's first communities, you will find an amazing mix of new and historic homes for sale in San Bernardino and the Inland Empire Metropolitan Area. Compared with regions of similar size and history, such as the Metropolitan Toronto Area, you will find a wide variety of types of properties at a great value. San Bernardino offers every type of residential real estate from luxury condos to ranch houses.

A large amount to San Bernardino's real estate is, generally speaking, made up of older units than one would find in the surrounding area of the city or a city like Toronto. Brampton real estate, for example, offers a number of historic homes among newer, suburban developments. The areas surrounding San Bernardino have a number of older homes, too, while newer homes are constantly being built in areas like Verdemont on the city's north side.

In the University District of the San Bernardino Mountains you will find a number of homes suitable for students and mature professionals. Two and three bedroom semi-detached houses and townhouses are consistently available. Compared with similar Brantford homes for sale at an average of $290,000, you will find family homes listing for about $230,000. There are some great houses and condos available in this price range in the areas of Cajon Pass, near the Santa Ana River and Hospitality Lane District.

There are a number of great options arising for condominiums in the downtown area. One bedroom brick-and-beam lofts in historic industrial spaces around the Sante Fe Depot start at around $180,000. A Toronto condominium in a similar downtown neighborhood would start at around the same amount. The Sante Fe Depot district has recently undergone a major redevelopment costing almost $16 million. A number of factories, warehouses and commercial spaces have been converted into condos and pedestrian shopping areas.

Stylish townhouses are available throughout the city. Some of the most popular are those being built in the city's west end and near the Mission Revival station. As with Mississauga townhouses, you will be able to find newer, two bedroom townhouses surrounding the city starting at about $220,000. San Bernardino offers a number of townhouses that are in keeping with western and southern design styles, making for some unique options in the look and feel of your new home.

In terms of suburban real estate, one can find a number of newer two and three bedroom homes being offered around the San Bernardino International Airport and logistics campus of AllianceCalifornia. A similar Burlington Ontario home for sale would cost slightly more. However, development in these areas of San Bernardino is flourishing. New office, schools, dining and cultural destinations are opening there faster than in other areas of the city.

San Bernardino's real estate market has something to offer every buyer's needs and budgets. Whether you are looking for a new condo, townhouse or standalone family dwelling, there are a number of exciting options for you to consider, both new and old, in the San Bernardino area.
